Christopher I. Jacobs

 

Chris, a native of Virginia Beach, graduated from Old Dominion with a Bachelor’s of Science in Political Science while minoring in Economics in 1993.  He subsequently worked in the maritime field as a Steamship Agent prior to attending Regent University - Robertson School of Law.  Chris earned his law degree in 2002. 

 

Chris is a Life Member of the Virginia Beach Rescue Squad.  While there he attended to those in need of emergency medical services for over ten years and was a field training instructor.  He is very active in outdoor emergency care and couples his emergency medical knowledge with his practice.  He is a member of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, Norfolk Portsmouth Bar Association, and the Virginia State Bar.  

 

Chris’ area of Practice includes Personal Injury Litigation, Criminal Defense, and Domestic Relations.  He has litigated in all levels of Virginia’s trial courts as well as litigating in the Virginia Court of Appeals, Virginia Supreme Court, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, and the U.S. Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. While away from the office, Chris enjoys an active role as a member of the Snowshoe Ski Patrol as an emergency care provider and many other outdoor activities.
