Jeffry A. Sachs
Jeff was born in Charlottesville, Virginia on April 18, 1956. He graduated from
Norfolk Academy in 1974 and received a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration
in Criminal Justice from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia in 1978.
Jeff graduated from the Delaware Law School of Widener University with his
Juris Doctor degree in 1981, where he was a member of the Moot Court Honor
Society. After working as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Virginia
Beach for over six years, Jeff joined the firm of Kalfus & Nachman in 1992
and became a shareholder in the firm in August of 1999.
He enjoys a very active litigation practice. Jeff is a member of the Virginia
State Bar, Norfolk Portsmouth Bar Association, Virginia Beach Bar Association,
Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association.
Jeff is an appointed member of the Virginia Beach Public Library Board and also
serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Learning Bridge A Breakthrough
Program, which is an academic enrichment program for talented, motivated public
school students who want to go to college, and is the result of a partnership
in education between Norfolk Academy and Norfolk Public Schools. He and his wife
Lynn have 2 children. They enjoy being actively involved in their children's
education and in community activities.
